HAPPY May Long Weekend Everyone!!!
Wow… is anyone else shocked that we are already this far into May?? It’s crazy to think, but before we know it we are going to be in full on summer mode! I personally cannot wait, because in my opinion nothing is better than long, warm, summer days. I know it’s not just me, because everyone’s mood seems to shift, there is just happiness in the air, and life is good when we get to ditch those extra layers and trade out our winter boots for those open toed shoes and sandals. Speaking of shedding those extra layers, we just received an unreal shipment from Lost in Lunar, which is giving me all the summer patio vibes and I cannot wait to share it with you all today!
This is either the second or third time that I am posting about this brand, as it is relatively new to Miss Boss, and you guys, I honestly cannot say enough good things about it! I am absolutely blown away by ALL of the new arrivals, from the quality, to the fit, to just the overall style of each item. I feel like this brand is so fresh and different from a lot of the more basic pieces we carry. Now don’t get me wrong, we love our basics over at Miss Boss because you absolutely need good quality basics in your wardrobe, but I just love things that stand out with bolder prints, ruffles, big buttons, and all those extra details that make you feel like a million bucks when you wear them.
This first item I’m going to share is the “Maya Pantsuit” which is available in 2 different colours! You guys!!! If I could dream of what my ideal summer outfit would be, this would be it! I love how easy it is going to be to dress up for a summer wedding, bridal shower, any summer event by simply adding some heels and accessories, but then will also be equally as cute with a pair of flip flops and oversized floppy hat to rock over your bathing suit on the boat or at the beach. This jumpsuit is available in “salmon” and “black” and features a flattering v neckline, open back cutout, and an elasticated waist band throughout the back. The best part about this jumpsuit is how reasonable the price point is, retailing for just $155!!!
Next up is the most stunning wrap dress! Now if you are at all familiar with wrap dresses, then you know that they are the most flattering fit on EVERY body type, no matter what shape or size you are. If you don’t currently own a wrap dress, then you need to pop on by Miss Boss to try this one on! The floral print “Eliza Wrap Dress”-$145 is fully lined and has adjustable wrap ties allowing you to play around with the size and fit. Whether you are in the best shape of your life, rocking some of that extra winter fluff, currently pregnant, or recently had a baby, this dress is going to look amazing on you because it’s going to accentuate the smallest part of your waist and then flow, flawlessly over the rest of your body.
Speaking of floral prints…this next floral set is going to blow your mind, in a good way of course! We loved it so much, that we decided that one colour option would not be enough, so naturally we brought it in, in everyone’s favourite colour…black LOL, and then of course lime for a fabulous pop of colour. The great thing about this set, is that the pieces are sold separately so if you aren’t into wearing watching print from head to toe, then go ahead and pair the “Eliza Crop Top”-$105 with some awesome high rise denim, or the “Eliza Pants”-$110 with a bodysuit, cami, or just a basic white tee (*** Keep in mind the possibilities when it comes to fashion and putting together outfits are endless, so have fun with it and show off your own personal style!). I also wanted to mention that these pieces are super lightweight, and would be great for those really hot summer days or tropical vacations.

This last piece from the Lost in Lunar collection just screams summer vibes. When I think of this dress I imagine myself strolling through a winery in Kelowna, or having a picnic in the park, or if you are super lucky, walking down the beach in Hawaii! The white “Samantha Dress” -$155 is just so effortlessly beautiful and perfect for every summer occasion. This would also make a great dress for those brides to be, because I know how hard it can be to find a white dress that is both sexy but also classy! The “Samantha Dress” is a classic midi dress that is fully lined and features adjustable shoulder straps, front ties, a side zip closure, and is elasticized in the centre back for additional comfort.
