Miss Boss Reusable Totes
We are so pumped about our new reusable totes that we wanted to feature and share with you what these mean. As another initiative to cut down on our usage of plastics and paper bags we welcome "Miss Boss reusable totes"! If you have been following us lately on social media you'll notice that we have just recently introduced bulk size body washes from our all natural home and body line "Love Fresh". To cut down on plastic bottles you can now bring in your empty 500ml body wash and we will refill it for you at a discounted price. We believe these tiny, minimal changes eventually compound into great big changes for our beautiful planet!
As for the totes, the bonus for you is that each time you bring in your tote to shop we will donate $1.00 to the 1% for the planet organization. David Lerner
This week we featured four different looks from the new David Lerner arrivals, two sporty and two dressy. If you have been keeping up with our insta stories then you know that when it comes to David Lerner even their most basic pieces have that extra detail to them! I’m going to start by talking about the “Vegan Jogger”- $340 because I am crazy obsessed with these!!! By now, most of us probably have a pair of leather leggings in our wardrobe because they are just so easy to dress up or dress down, but I’m not going to lie I am kind of excited for this alternative…and when I say kind of, I really mean SOOO excited! They are super comfortable with their relaxed fit and draw string waist. The blush and white striped detail on the leg adds the perfect amount of girly to this edgy wardrobe staple.
Are you a sweat suit kind of gal?!?! Pair the black and white “Raglan Pullover”-$160 with the “Lounge Jogger”-$160 for a cute lounge outfit. Both of these items are made of 100% cotton and feature distressed detailing. Slide on your favourite pair of sneakers for a perfect travel day look!
Next up is this gorgeous “Mandarin Collar Blouse” in cream, featuring a keyhole closure and cuffed sleeves. This blouse looks great paired with our J Brand “Maria High Rise Skinny”-$260 or with the “David Lerner Pencil Skirt” for a dressier look. Keep in mind that the keyhole is fairly low cut, making it great for evening wear, but can also make the perfect work staple by simply adding a little cami underneath!
This ¾ sleeve shirt dress is GOALS!!! It has a super flattering fit making it a perfect “go-to” dress for all occasions. I love this dress paired with ankle or over the knee boots and your favourite layered necklaces!! The “Aura Double Necklace” and the “Figaro Necklace” are one of my FAV combos at the moment!
Gentle Fawn
The “Murphy Jacket” has been SO popular this fall and we only have 2 left!!! This jacket gives me all the fall vibes and looks so good paired with the new Gentle Fawn “Remi Dress”-$110. The “Renfrew Sweater”-$135 is a cozy turtleneck sweater and is available in rust, which seems to be one of the most sought after colours this season!! Pair this sweater with a lighter wash cropped flare denim and white booties (VERY on trend for fall 2018) or black patent leather (always a staple).

Oh Rebecca King…she did it again! This waffle print “Sweater Dress”-$175 is available in black and grey and is literally the perfect length making it so so flattering! My favourite thing about this dress is the detachable “faux sweater”. I am sure you all have noticed that tying a sweater or jacket around your waist has made its comeback and not in the same way we all remember. Gone are the days of tying your jacket around your waist because you needed to free up your hands or your mom didn’t want you to lose your jacket as a kid so she MADE you tie it up…well ladies and gentleman this is no longer the case… people actually just tie it there as part of their outfit with no intentions of actually wearing the jacket!! CRAZY… I know right!?! So what did Rebecca do? She created a faux sweater that when tied up sits flat against the body while creating the perfect waistline with no additional bulk! I have to say that this dress looks amazing on ALL body types and shapes and may just be my new favourite piece to date from Rebecca King!
