If you have been following along for a while then you know that every week we feature new and exciting items via try-ons over on our Instagram stories. We thought it would be super fun to showcase different women/influencers throughout the city and to also allow our followers and customers to see the clothing on different body shapes and sizes.

Jackson Rowe

Ok, let’s just take a minute to obsess over the “Henley Bodysuit”-$60, I mean this is a spring/ summer must have. Back in the winter, Jackson Rowe had a long sleeve, turtleneck version of this bodysuit and I’m pretty sure us girls at Miss Boss lived in them!! They are seriously so comfy, stretchy, and of course, the most important part, super flattering. This tank version is available in 3 different colours, black, rust, and stripe, and for size reference Sarah is wearing a Medium in the videos. She has paired the striped bodysuit with DL “Farrow Denim High Rise”-$250 in a size 30, and both of these items are available both in store and online.

If you loved the ribbed material and button detail on “Henley Bodysuit” then you are going to also want to pay attention to this next item! The “Daisy Dress”- $98 is available in black and rust and has almost identical details to the bodysuit, however it is obviously a dress and as an added bonus it’s double lined! Sarah did size up to a large in this dress and paired it with the black Malvados slides for a super easy on the go look. If you have shopped at Miss Boss before than you are no stranger to the Jackson Rowe staples which include the Knotty Tee, Classic Crew, and the Girlfriend tee. It is no secret that the “Knotty Tee” is always a best seller because of its super flattering fit, and luckily for us Jackson Rowe has a version of this top for every season. In the winter we carry the “Winter Knotty”, and most recently for spring/summer we just received the “Knotty Tank” which is what we featured in this week’s picks. The “Knotty Tank” retails for $58 and is available in black, berry, mustard, and green which is the colour Sarah featured paired with the amazing J Brand Mid-Rise Skinny jeans in a size 30.

Gentle Fawn

Oh Gentle Fawn…you just never disappoint!!! I have to say that Gentle Fawn is a go to brand for me, because a) their stuff is so stinking cute, and b) the price point is just so affordable! I also love that you can find everything in this line from dressy work appropriate clothes, to cute jumpsuits for those summer weddings, to casual sweaters and tees. We obviously couldn’t feature the entire shipment, so we selected a few of our most favourite pieces to share with all of you!
We started off with this beautiful must have “Ninette Jumpsuit”-$130 in deep blue. This loose fitting jumpsuit features criss cross detailing at the back and adjustable straps. I love how easy and versatile this piece is, making it the perfect item to take on all those summer vacas! To dress it down, toss on a denim jacket and a pair of flip flops, and to dress it up throw on some glam jewelry and a pair of block heels! Another way to style this jumpsuit is with the “Othella” wrap -$79. This lightweight wrap also looks super cute over a white tank and a pair of denim shorts.

OK, this next item is at the TOP of my current must have list. I don’t know what it is about a knitted tank, but when I see them I just need them in every colour! Honest story….last year we received a different version of the knitted tank and initially I just bought one, but by the end of summer I owned it in 3 different colours!!! So believe me when I say, I would NOT judge you if after seeing the “Dunbar knit tank”- $98, you decided you also needed it in orange, white, AND taupe! I personally feel like this top does have a slightly oversized fit, so just keep that in mind if ordering online, oh and don’t forget to use Sarah’s code (sarahspicks) for 10% off!!

Now if you are looking for a nice lightweight linen blend shirt, this beautiful mauve coloured “Carrine” top is a great piece to think about adding to your summer wardrobe. I would say the fit is slightly boxier giving it a nice flowy fit, and it retails for just $79. Pair this top with your favourite white denim, wedge heels, and an eLiasz and eLLa bracelet stack!

Sometimes I purposely save the best for last, but I have to say that I absolutely loved everything that Sarah featured for This Week’s Picks so it’s very hard to pick just ONE favourite!

With that being said, the “Arthur Jumpsuit” is pretty dang amazing and would be great for any hot holiday, wine tour, or just a casual Sunday stroll through our local farmers market. This beautiful striped jumpsuit features a zip closure on the side, a tie back, wide leg, and the material is a linen/rayon blend. Sarah is wearing a size 10 and this jumpsuit retails for $130.
