Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you all had an awesome weekend! This week on the blog I am talking about a brand that I am personally obsessed with, and to be totally honest, can’t seem to get enough of! Every time we receive a new shipment from them I instantly start thinking about how I can justify bringing home just one more item…sorry hubby!! Not only are their items high quality, and on trend, but the comfiness is next level, and these days I seem to be all about being comfortable, while still looking put together.
If you are new around here, the brand I am talking about is SEN (insert all the heart eye emojis!!!) Lately I find that a lot of our customers are more curious about the story behind a brand, and are interested in what makes the brand unique, so I thought it would only make sense to provide you all with just that!

Now that you all have a better understanding of what the Sen Collection is all about, let’s dive right in and talk about the fabulous new pieces that have hit the racks at Miss Boss! Sabrina and I both decided it would be fun to pick out our favourite pieces to wear for the try-on videos for This Week’s Picks. I love when we do this, because sometimes it’s just fun to play dress up in the items that really speak to you and showcase your individual style. As many of you know, Sabrina is a full time mom, wife, and the owner of Miss Boss, so that means she is ALWAYS on the go, and because life is super busy she loves to be able to sport clothes that are both stylish but functional. I’m pretty sure Sabrina owns every style we have ever received in the SEN jogger pants, and every time she wears them I have instant regret that I didn’t get on board while we still had them in stock. Luckily we just received a new style which she featured in our insta stories called the “Gladia Pant”-$135. The “Gladia Pant” is a black jogger style sweat pant with white draw strings for an adjustable waistband, large front pockets, and the material is 95% modal and 5% spandex making them SOOO soft and comfortable!
Since we are on the topic of comfortable, Sabrina chose to pair the “Gladia Pant” with the new “Taryn Top”- $140 for a head to toe athleisure look. Now keep in mind if you are someone who likes to get a little more dressed up, both of these pieces are great on their own and can be elevated by pairing them with the right outfit! For instance, if you paired the joggers with a flowy white blouse (do a little tuck in the front), black heels and some accessories you could have a super on trend look. Same goes for the “Taryn Top”, by simply adding a pair of your favourite denim, some cute shoes and accessories, and a leather jacket, you will have completely changed the look from an athleisure daytime outfit to the perfect date night look!
For my outfit, I chose to wear the “Bari Top”, simply because this would be an outfit that I would wear on repeat! I love things that fit a little boxier, but that are still feminine, and if you have ever met me then you know that I LOVE getting dressed up! I tend to lean towards dressier pieces or items that have a little extra detail to them. I am also such a fan of shirts that are slightly cropped when paired with high rise denim, because the shirt hits you at the smallest part of your waist, making your legs look longer and your waist look smaller! In my world, both of those are a major bonus!! The “Bari Top”-$175 features a super lightweight fabric making it the ideal top for those hot summer days ahead!
For all my stripe lovers out there, this next one is for you! This top is super similar to another top we have in store from a previous SEN shipment called the “Martinique Top”. The “Martinique Top” is available in black and taupe and we still have a few left, BUT if you already purchased this top then you are going to be obsessed with the newest arrival the “Danli Tank”-$165 because it is amazing and it’s 100% Linen!!! Now if you have no idea what I’m talking about then now is your time to jump on board because this top can be worn two different ways, and I personally love when items are versatile and can be styled to look like two different tops! The “Danli Tank” is a heather grey and black striped tank and can be worn knotted at the waist or untied for a more flowy look. This top is also a great work piece that will transition perfectly into after work patio drinks or a night out on the town!
The last item is something that everyone could always use more of in their wardrobe, and that’s basic tanks! Tanks are great for layering under blazers, cardigans, blouses, etc. no matter the season, which is why I consider them to be such an important staple in everyone’s wardrobe. I also believe in having a few higher quality pieces that you invest in, and then of course some less expensive ones that are trendier, have patterns, or are bright colours because you will probably not have them in your wardrobe as long. These new “Elated Tanks” are definitely more of a splurge, but the quality will allow you to have them for a long time and the colours are nice and neutral so you don’t need to worry that they won’t be on trend next season!
