Lost in Lunar

Spring is officially here and we have received the most perfect collection from a brand that is NEW to Miss Boss called Lost in Lunar, and we couldn’t be more excited!!! We are actually obsessed with every single item that we received, and it’s apparent that so are all of you, because we are selling out of sizes VERY quickly! Lost in Lunar is an Australian based, bohemian fashion label created by two sisters. You can expect unique, high quality, and on trend pieces from this collection that will be perfect additions to your spring/summer wardrobe.

Prints are always a great way to have fun with your outfits, and the Allira spot print from Lost in Lunar is no exception. We received this print in two different styles that are both stunning! The “Allira Maxi Dress” is fully lined, easy to wear with its adjustable straps, ruched bust, and flowy fit. The front frill detail adds such a soft and romantic feel to this dress and it retails for just $144!! I love that you can toss on a leather jacket and some heels and it’s the perfect date night look, or you can put on a jean jacket and some flip flops and you are vacation ready!

The other piece we received in the Allira spot print is the “Allira Romper”- $135. The ruffled straps and hemline are the perfect addition to this fun and flirty romper. This piece is also double lined, so you don’t need to worry that it will be see through! Keep in mind this item does not have any stretch and is meant to be fitted with its side body zipper closure. For bustier gals, I would recommend sizing up one size for a better fit.

Linen, linen, and more linen!!! Linen is one of my favourite fabrics for warmer weather, because it is light weight, breathable, and all around just has that summery feel to it. All these linen pieces are perfect for vacations, and we received everything from tops, to shorts, to dresses, so there is definitely something for everyone.

The “Sahara Mini Dress”-$135, is your basic mini dress with front buttons and frilly straps that cross in the back. I love the simplicity of this piece, and I think it would look gorgeous paired with white ankle boots, and a stack of eLiasz and eLLa bracelets.

The “Sahara Short” is the same colour and material as the “Sahara Mini Dress” and both are available in the colour cement! The “Sahara Short” retails for $110, and are probably my favourite pair of shorts ever!!!! They are so comfortable and so easy to dress up or dress down. I love that they have an elastic waist with a draw string, which allows you to wear them higher up on your waist or lower down on your hips. I personally love everything high waisted at the moment, and with a lot of tops having the cropped fit I find that I get a lot more wear out of them when I can pair them with something that won’t show my midsection. These shorts have the cutest fringe detail on the hem and the ends of the drawstrings in an off white colour, and we styled them with the “Cropped Puff Sleeve Top” in black from SEN.

If you’re really digging the linen items, then you are going to die over the “Zara Pants”-$138! These have very similar details to the “Sahara Short” with the elasticated waist, and fringe details along the pockets. These pants are light weight and look so boho chic paired with “Miray Crop Top”-$116 or the “Samara Top”-$135. We styled it both ways to show the versatility of these FAB pants!

The “Miray Crop Top” makes me think of patio and festival season!!! This top is super cute and can be worn a few different ways from on or off the shoulders, tied in the front, or even wrapped and tied in the back!

The other top I mentioned was the “Samara Top” and this is one of those must have tops!! It’s just so easy and effortless and ultra-feminine. I said earlier in the post that I love linen, but especially when it’s white linen, because there is just something that is so crisp and clean about it. This top features an oversized silhouette, cuffed sleeves and side tie details, and can be paired with just about anything in your wardrobe!

Reiko

Speaking of new brands at Miss Boss, we also recently started carrying a pant line called “Reiko” and we feel like it has totally filled any gap we previously had when it came to bottoms! As you all know we have TONS of denim, but we didn’t have a lot of “dressier” pants that could be worn to work or for fancier occasions, so we are so happy to say that Reiko has done just that for us! We received 5 different styles ranging from chinos, to cigarette style dress pants, to denim.

The mid rise “Sandy Chino”-$160 is a soft touch, light weight fabric with a fitted bottom leg. It also features a hidden closure with hook, Italian front pockets, and back pipped pockets. These pants are incredibly comfortable and are available in two different colours, rose and khaki. Pair these pants with a basic Z Supply tee and the Melissa “Sweet Bow” sandals for the perfect casual look, or add a blouse, blazer, and heels and you are ready for whatever the work day throws your way!

Now I must say we have been obsessing over the “Lizzy Cigarette Pant” from the moment we unboxed them, because they are just the perfect pair of dress pants! They come in white with dainty black pinstripes, or black with a contrasting khaki stripe down the side of the leg. Both styles are extremely classy with a slightly lower rise, straight leg and tightened bottom, Italian front pockets, and back pipped pockets. Both pairs are lined making them extra flattering, and they retail for just $170.

Rebecca King

OK, it’s time to celebrate because we finally received ALL of the 3 way sweaters and the new remake of the Techno Suit Jacket from Rebecca King!!! We have had a growing wait list for these items, because they are SO popular, and they always tend to sell out pretty quickly! If you have purchased anything Rebecca King before then you know that every single item is made with love! The quality and attention to detail in her pieces is evident, because they stand the test of time and continue to look brand new after years of wear! I just love everything about this brand, especially the fact that Rebecca King herself is from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The “3 way” is a heavy weight sweater, and is made of 100% cotton. Just like the name states the “3 way” can be worn three different ways, from over the shoulders, to a more gathered look around the neck, to a sweater with a hood! Check out our try on below to see this beauty on, because it’s one of those pieces that just doesn’t do justice on a hanger. This sweater retails for $270, is machine washable, and is available in charcoal, green, navy, and salt & pepper.

Lastly, the “Techno Suit Jacket” is my all-time favourite piece from Rebecca King, because the cut of the jacket is so unique and flattering on all body types! It’s available in black and charcoal and retails for $240. We have received this jacket before, but there have been a few changes to it, mostly in regards to the fabric, and I am IN LOVE!! The fabric is 100% polyester, and the ribbing detail is 100% cotton. The new fabric is bonded with a fleece backing and all edges of the fabric are finished. Both the 3 way and the Techno Suit Jacket are available in store and online, and since they are over $150, the shipping is completely free!
